Kleinemonde Beach

Description

Kleinemonde Beach is a provisional Blue Flag beach located around 20km from Port Alfred, between Port Elizabeth and East London, in the Eastern Cape. Offering miles of white sandy beach, sand dunes, tidal pools, and tranquillity, Kleinemonde really is about getting away from it all.

The small town of Kleinemonde lies on twin rivers (east and west Kleinemonde) that flow into the sea via lagoons after the rains. These lagoons and rivers offer a wonderland for water lovers, with activities like swimming, canoeing, fishing, boating, and sailing to be enjoyed.

The beach is ideal for evening strolls, where one can become one with nature with nothing but the sight, sound, and smell of the sea to surround them. The banks are laden with stunning indigenous vegetation and ancient cycads that add to the already incredible atmosphere.
