Santos Beach

Description

Santos Beach is a lovely Blue Flag beach in the popular holiday town of Mossel Bay, in the Western Cape. The wide, sandy beach offers magnificent views across the bay, with perfect vantage points for spotting whales and dolphins during the months of May to October.

The beach enjoys water temperatures between 20 - 22ËšC in summer and 13 - 14ËšC in winter. It has a fantastic launching site for paddle skis, while a range of other sports can also be enjoyed here, such as surfing, boating, diving, and angling. The rocky outcrops fill with pools of water that are home to interesting sea creatures that kids can discover.

Santos Beach is conveniently set close to numerous restaurants and local attractions. Lifeguards are on duty throughout the holiday season (December and January), and there is also plenty of parking.
