The Baths
Description
The Baths is a hot spring resort tucked away on a citrus farm near the town of Citrsudal, approximately 2 hours’ drive from Cape Town in the Western Cape. Established in 1739, this self-catering resort boasts natural hot water springs of 43ËšC in a beautifully rural setting.
The resort has an emphasis on non-commercialism, with no televisions and very limited cell phone reception. It’s a place where visitors can finally switch off and enjoy getting back to basics.
Enjoy a night off from cooking at Macgregor’s Restaurant with its delectable a la carte menu, internet hotspot, and sundowner deck. A shop offers all the necessities, from towels and sun cream, to firewood, and snacks. For those who are looking for a little adventure, there are hiking trails leading off the property where you can see bushman art. Accommodation is available in 15 chalets and 18 flats, as well as 20 shaded caravan and camping sites.
