Set against the diverse backdrop of Cape Town’s cosmopolitan cityscape, the route pays homage to the remarkable journey of South African brandy and presents a unique way to appreciate its distinctive character and quality.

Venues

The Urban Brandy Route has kicked off with a diverse listing of Cape Town venues where you can embrace a more sophisticated, modern image of brandy that caters to different tastes and palates. More venues are being added to the mix, encouraging more people to ‘share the spirit’ and revel in brandy’s supreme mixability.

Knock Knock Bar – This pop up bar in De Waterkant entertains with toe tapping tunes and drinks with a kick. Join them for a Live Jazz Band and Electro Swing on Wednesdays, Hip Hop and RnB on Thursdays, and Old School Funk on Fridays.

Hudsons Burger Joint – Inspired by authentic American-style diners, with leather benches and wooden tables, Hudsons in Green Point is comfortably old-school with a contemporary city twist. It has become an integral part of the trend-setting Cape Town culture.

Mano a Mano – Set in the picturesque neighbourhood of Gardens, Mano a Mano is great for families and friends looking for a well prepared meal and cosy, laid back atmosphere.
