"Houtbaai is 'n aangename gemeenskap en die hawe was een van die hoogtepunte. Dis voorwaar 'n pragtige deel van ons land wat jy moet besoek as jy Kaap toe reis."
"Houtbaai is maar net een van my gunsteling bestemmings. Bekostigbaar en veilig en naby aan al die Kaapstad besienswaardighede. Dis uit die verkeer van Kaapstad. Die mense daar is vriendelike en ontvanklik. Sal enige tyd weer teruggaan. "

"Houtbaai is vreeslik mooi en rustig, veral nader aan die baai se kant, met indrukwekkende uitsigte op die berge. Ons beveel verseker Dunes Beach Bar & Restaurant aan vir drankies, Mariner's Wharf vir die lekkerste seekos en cocktails, asook 'n ontspannende stap met die honde- strand af soos die son sak."

However, I would only visit over a weekend when the market at the harbour at the end of the road is open (worth a visit!), as well as the flea market on Sundays. "Fantastiese, pragtige plek, mooiste uitsig oor Houtbaai. Baie eetplekke alhoewel daar nie veel aktiwiteite is om te doen behalwe om na die hawe toe te gaan nie. Houtbaai sal ons vir seker weer sien. "

"Beautiful scenery, the little village market, shopping centre and restaurants makes it very convenient to visit with minimal luggage as you have access to everything you need. At the same time, it's nice and quiet and away from the main city areas."
