"Dit was ons eerste keer in Ballito en ek sal vir seker teruggaan. "The market" is 'n baie goeie plek vir vleis en vars brode en groente en jy hoef regtig nie iets in te pak nie. Goeie koffie en restaurante met top-strande maak dit 'n baie goeie bestemming!"
"I am not sure Ballito will ever return to its former status with all the trouble taking place in KwaZulu-Natal. The beaches being closed because of the chemical spill was a major setback for us. We were just not prepared to let our children swim under those conditions because of the long term affect it could have on them. We saw a lot of people swimming but didn't think it was worth taking the risk."

"Weather in September is actually raining season. Take the wind-still, sunny days at the beach as the wind picks up drastically in the afternoon. If unpleasant weather is experienced, take a trip to Sugar Rush Park. Kids have plenty to do there for a long time. My opinion - do not go to the Crocodile Creek. The place is dilapidated and needs a lot of attention. Road towards Crocodile Creek is also in bad shape. Flag Animal Farm is also a nice experience."
