"Robertson has an attractive main road with several coffee shops, restaurants, farmstalls, a lovely art gallery and several popular camping areas along the river. The butcher in town supplied fresh meat for braaiing and the many wine farms were attractive. The vineyards and mountain views very pretty. We noticed a few new shopping centres since our last visit several years ago."
"It is quiet and safe. You feel like you are away out of the city. No big shops so just essentials available. There is a big lake for swimming. Very hot, very beautiful. Quaint."
"A nice place to be situated away from the city as other areas are easily accessible in an hour's drive eg. Stellenbosch, Cape Town, Ceres etc."
"No additional activities for kids. We drove to Cape Town to entertain our kiddies."

Jy sal nie 'n fout maak as jy in Paarl wil oornag nie. Dis een asemrowende natuurskoon Boland."
"Wellington is a very quiet town. It's perfect for a short and quiet getaway - two nights maximum though, as places to eat and things to do are limited."
"Wonderful town, excellent wine farms. Lovely people. There are not many places that are super child-friendly in the greater Robertson area, although most wine farms have facilities that can keep children under 5 busy. A very neat town, with minimal litter and a general sense of pride. The Checkers flagship @the Quarter is of the best."
