"Riebeek-Kasteel het meer om te sien en doen, maar die twee dorpe is so na aan mekaar. Daar is 'n goeie kwekerye net soos 'n mens in Riebeek-Wes inry (van -Kasteel se rigting) wat die moeite werd is om te besoek. "

Many of the whitewashed houses were very attractive and it has considerable appeal. It would have been nice to have been able to visit a small museum that told a little of the history of this small, off the beaten track town. Perhaps there is one, or if not perhaps someone could initiate one."
