"Soos baie plekke in die land is die pad na Underberg en selfs in die dorp vol slaggate, "potholes". Sou beslis help as dit instand gehou kon word. Dit het gemaak dat 'n mens nie die omgewing wil verken en die plaaslike gemeenskap (restaurante en toeruste aanloklikhede) wil besoek nie."
"The house was not far from the shops and places of interest. We enjoyed travelling to the bakery for fresh bread and the best jam doughnuts ever (according to my sons). My favourite was the Chocolate shop which was close to the bakery in a small centre which boasted their own brewery. We spent a morning at the Birds of Prey Centre. That was definitely an experience worth repeating."
"Crappy town in beautiful surroundings. It has deteriorated markably, especially the roads through the town."
"Windmill Pub en Grill het die beste pizza in die Oos-Vrystaat, baie goeie waarde vir geld en die diens was tops. Baie lekker mense wat daar werk en goeie geselskap met locals. "

"Ai, die ou dorpie val uitmekaar. Fouriesburg is baie lekker geleë vir hoekom ons daar gaan bly het - ons was op pad Lesotho toe (Afriski). Ons het wel baie lekker geëet by Die Plaasstoep en Orange Apple."
"The area is one we have visited before as travellers from the UK. There is plenty to do and see in the area and on this visit we were lucky enough to obtain tickets for the Drakensberg Boys Choir. Absolutely fabulous, a treat. Several quirky places to eat etc."

"Apart from great views Fouriesburg does not offer much. But it is only 35 km from Clarens where accommodation prices have risen steeply."
"Underberg is a beautiful, safe destination. Road conditions in some parts are very poor with large potholes. Would recommend Southern Berg Shuttles. They literally know every pothole and can ferry you around safely."
"We did not spend much time in Fouriesburg. Seems the town has been a bit neglected in terms of roads and development. Quaint but a run-down little town. Had a pub lunch, very friendly locals. Personally I would not stay there."
"Dis 'n oulike dorpie. Nie veel nie. Ons was spyt oor die bazaar wat ons gemis het. Maar die host het vir ons local attractions en activities gestuur wat ons kon doen."
