"Our shopping experience in Clarens was disappointing compared to when we last visited in 2015. The quality of goods on offer was not as good as it was before. And the condition of the road around the town square is not acceptable anymore. If this town wants to thrive, the whole community needs to pull together and all involved (shops, municipality, guest houses, property owners, residents etc) need to stand together and contribute towards lifting the quality of the shopping experience, including the road infrastructure, of this beautiful village."
