"Clarens is a beautiful little town with friendly people. It gets very cold there, so need to take lots of warm clothes."
Lieflike eetplekke. Dit was ons derde besoek aan Clarens."
"We visited Clarens as there is always a hype about the town. Some very interesting but tourist-priced shops. Some good restaurants and the food at the Brewery was exceptional for pub food. Maybe we missed something but the town itself was a bit of a disappointment. But we enjoyed the area as the Sandstone mountains are really beautiful, and especially enjoyed the drive through the Maluti mountains around Golden Gate."
"Clarens is a pretty village, but in my view is best visited on a weekday when it's not so crowded. I recommend Gostos - the Portuguese restaurant."
"Clarens is great for a quiet break, but would be challenging for kids needing lots of activities."
"Pragtige klein dorpie.
"What a little gem of a town. Loads of history and beautiful scenery and the most amazing people. Prices are so good and close proximity of so much to do."
"Not much to do in Ladybrand, but if you have your passport ready you can travel to Lesotho without any issues and go hiking and do a bit of sightseeing."
