"The beaches are among the finest in South Africa. The Kowie River is absolutely stunning. There are some amazing restaurants to enjoy. The whole CBD, however, looks like a bit of a dive and could do with a serious cleanup."
"A lovely place to relax in and with a wonderful beach area. You could go for long-distance walks easily."
"Beautiful sunny, coastal town with the most beautiful scenery."
"There aren't too many attractions in Port Alfred but it is indeed a very pretty town."
"Als wat jy nodig het, genoeg om te doen in en om PA as die weer nie saamspeel nie. Mense is vriendelik maar wees net versigtig, diefstal is hoër as voorheen so wees ekstra versigtig by huis en in die dorp."
"Not many activities, but then the weather at this time of the year wouldn't permit it."
"Beautiful environment. Variety of quaint restaurant options. Beaches and river frontage clean and pleasant."
"Die Rose Hill Mall is 'n veilige en skoon winkelsentrum wat alles bied wat 'n reisiger nodig het."
"Heerlike, rustige dorpie. Sal defnitief weer Port-Alfred besoek vir wegbreekvakansie."
"It was our first time traveling to PA. We Googled some places, but when we went it was a bit disappointing. We enjoyed the boat cruise."
"Baie mooi, rustige dorpie by die see. Die weer was net so 'n bietjie sleg oor die Paasnaweek."
"As any other place, Port Alfred has its pluses and minuses. Some good parts and some not-so-good parts. Lovely restaurants and shops. Nice and central to surrounding areas and beaches."
"Quiet seaside town. Perfect to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of the city."
"Baie oulike dorpie. Kon alles koop wat ons nodig sou kry vir ons paar dae by "hole in the wall"."
"Port Alfred is 'n baie mooi dorp met mooi strande en 'n goeie inkopiesentrum."
"Dorp, strate en strand baie netjies en skoon. Geen "potholes". 'n Pragtige dorp."
"Drove to the beach and many people were drinking there. The use of alcohol needs to be controlled in public places as many do not know how to behave. What a pity!"
