"For me Scottsville is an ideal destination because my son goes to Maritzburg Boys College, which is close by, and I will be frequenting the school for five years. It is a convenient location for shopping since Liberty Mall is close by."
"The area is rather residential and industrial with not much to do that I know of. So great for industrial business and visiting friends in the area."
"We had to find accommodation in Scottsville to attend the World Canoe Marathon Championships at Camps Drift Dam, but don't think we would stay in Pietermaritzburg otherwise. Hosts recommended a wonderful restaurant called ''Oil and Olive" about 10 minutes away, which is highly recommended!"

"Gastehuis het uitstekende ligging en ons sal weer daarvan gebruik maak omdat dit so naby die snelweg, naby Hayfields Mall en ons ander besoekpunte was. Die rustigheid van die nabygeleë Scottsville Race Course en natuur was ook aangenaam. Eetplekke is taamlik naby en toeganklik."
