The Tin Shack"Nice little town. For a town that depends so heavily on tourism though, the general customer service is lacking. People are definitely doing you a favour by serving you."
"It hasn't necessarily got the dramatically high berg scenery of the central and northern berg, but there are still plenty of nice areas to explore. The Southern Berg has it's own charm and is less busy or developed than some of the more northern destinations. There is always something more to discover."
"Lovely town lacking tourist traffic. We had good food and drink at Walkerbouts restaurant. Beautiful scenery and stunning mountain passes make it a shame this town is not more busy."

Bergview"All attractions require a great deal of driving but if you are looking to just relax it is perfect."
"Very nice old town with a lot of history and well positioned for mountaineering and outdoor excursion. Only drawback is that there is no facility to obtain food if you did not bring the essentials along other than the two restaurants in the town."
