"Struisbaai is amazing! My first time there and definitely not the last. Windy but amazing beach and the estate we were in had direct access to the beach which was great!"
"Struisbaai is ’n baie mooi woonbuurt.
"The Beach was very nice and clean, but encountered a few mini buses in parking area with a lot of drunk loud folks, we had to cut our beach day short as we did not want our small kids to endure this kind of bad behavior."
"The color of the ocean looks like a tropical Island. Lots of nice spots for coffee or any other eat outs. Beach walks, fishing (which is why we were there) and my husband enjoys mountain biking there too."
"Friendly little town. Much to do, but what would you really need to do in such a laid back town. All you want to do is slow down and take in the scenery."
"Enjoyed visiting the wine farms close by (Strandveld and Black Oystercatcher)."
"Plenty of good places to eat, nice beach and the local fishermen sell their fresh catch on the harbour."
"We enjoyed the friendly people, but the overcharging was ridiculous. We live in Gansbaai, also in the Overberg, and we know what things cost. The overpriced drinks were really off-putting. Being charged R22 for a little tonic water that went with a gin is not reasonable at all, and at the harbor restaurant the waitress was immensely rude so we walked out and spend R380 at the Outpost for two pizzas and two Vodka Tonics. The pizza was below R120 each, so we are amazed at the price of those two drinks. The Sea Shack gave us a huge plastic cup of ice two tablespoons of Pina Colada for R65 so we didn't go back there. We won't be back. Struisbaai was immensely disappointing. There is not much to do in terms of art or culture and the restaurants are not of quality. The food is all right, I guess, but nothing to actually write about. So for us it really isn't a holiday destination. We also will not recommend it to friends and family."
Dankie, Struisbaai!"
"Netjies en skoon. Veilige, rustige omgewing.
"I love the small-town feeling. They should keep the town just as is, it's clean, it's safe and we even walked to the supermarket, something we can't do anymore where we stay right now."
"Relaxed and wish I could wake up every morning to the lovely sounds coming from the surrounding oceans, the fresh air and taking those long walks along the beautiful beaches."
