Aptly described as the “garden of the Garden Route”, the Tsitsikamma region is absolutely breath-taking in its natural beauty, with meandering streams and rivers, gushing waterfalls, and crystal clear pools that give the region its name. The Tsitsikamma National Park is a protected conservation area that forms part of the Garden Route National Park. It boasts an 80km stretch of coastline and the Tsitsikamma forest, an ancient indigenous forest that supports an intricate ecosystem home to the elusive Knysna Loerie.
