"Lovely beach. Not as busy as other coastal towns. Which we enjoyed. But you need to be aware of limited options for dinner when eating out. "
"Quaintest little town, friendly locals, clean and peaceful. And lots to do if you're energetic, as we are. Walks are fabulous, along the beach or rocks. 2 nice tennis courts. Good restaurants and coffee shops. Its unspoiled, unlike Hermanus and Plett, etc. Easy drives to wine estates, Darling, Langebaan, West Coast Park, Buffelsfontein for game drives, San Reserve which is fascinating and also lovely views, Mykonos. Weekend just too short! And its an easy 1 hour drive from Cape Town, huge plus. You can tell I'm a great fan of marvellous Yzerfontein!"
"Beautiful destination with the most amazing sea views! The roads and area is extremely clean and well looked after. A beautiful and peaceful place! Holidaying there was an absolute dream! Destination also close by or a short drive to other towns to visit. Lovely little padstals close by to visit as well. "

"It is quite expensive to buy anything in Yzerfontein so try and pack in what you need to avoid having to run to the shops. Not the friendliest people in the town itself. Nicest people we met were on holiday from Cape Town. "
