A peaceful and relaxing getaway with a friendly, accommodating host.

My stay was just what I needed—a quick getaway to a peaceful and serene place. The atmosphere was calm, and the host was incredibly friendly and accommodating to all my needs. I felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout my stay. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

Ons was baie vriendelik verwelkom deur die gasheer. Die eenheid is mooi skoon en netjies. Ek sal vir seker 36 on Boom kan aanbeveel. Dankie vir jou gasvryheid.

Beautiful experience and friendly host.

There was a problem with Vodacom network in the whole town. The host kept me informed the whole time via WhatsApp. She waited for me outside and kept the gate open until I arrived. The breakfast was to die for, best ever. Everything at 36 on Boom was excellent. The host was always there to assist with whatever I wanted. We could talk about everything. I will definitely be visiting again. Thank you very much.

Baie lekker gebly, pragtig skoon en vriendelik ontvang.

Gerieflike, netjiese akkommodasie en 'n vriendelike gasvrou.

Ontbyt was baie lekker.

Reis van die Kaap tot Kruger.

Na 'n gestoei met geweldige slegte paaie van Clarens tot by Zastron, was dit ongelooflik om die stand van die dorp te sien. Slaggate en alle dwarspaaie is 4x4-gehalte. Wat 'n geweldige verrassing toe ons by 36 on Boom inry. Kathy het ons die heeltyd per WhatsApp op hoogte gehou. Ons eenheid was kraakskoon en uitstekend toegerus. Ons het ook gebruik gehad van 'n gemeenskaplike kombuis. Die ontbyt was keurig voorgesit en heerlik van smaak. Middae het ons ge-stoepsit met ons eie versnaperinge. Beide aande het ons by Nell's Restaurant, so 800 m verder, geëet. Kan nie glo dat daar so 'n goeie restaurant in Zastron is nie. Ter opsomming: Zastron is 'n groot gemors, maar 36 on Boom en Nell's was absoluut uitstekend!

Baie netjies en skoon. Eienares is baie gasvry en hulpvaardig.

Wonderful hosting.

Our host had thought of every possible creature comfort to make us feel special: big towels, amazing bedding, warm strong showers, sherry for a nightcap, TV, electric blankets, etc. etc. etc. Just wonderful. We will be back.

Cathy en Diedrie is uitgeknip vir hul beroep. Uitstekende diens en heerlike ontbyt. Ons het die batterykrag tydens beurtkrag baie waardeer. Sal 36 on Boom vrylik aanbeveel.

Lekker gebly en goeie diens gekry!

Lekker oase in Zastron en kan dit met grootste vrymoedigheid aanbeveel.

Modern and very nice apartments.

Apartments new and very cozy. Well equipped. In the garden is a clear pool. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Owner very nice. She advised us to choose a restaurant for dinner. She was helpful.

Heerlike gasvrye tyd beleef.

Kathy is 'n uitstekende gasvrou wat uit haar pad uitgaan om te help. Dis 'n pragtige Plek, 'n tuiste soos jou eie plek.

I enjoyed staying at 36 On Boom B & B. The location is so tranquillising, you feel so relaxed and the breeze and the melodies from the birds, not forgetting the mountain view. I can carry on and on about the cleanliness of the room. Yes I will definitely recommend 36 On Boom B & B for a stay.

Our host was there to meet us and showed us around and explained everything. Room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Lovely breakfast. Thank you.

Veilig, gemaklik en gerieflik, alles wat mens benodig om gerieflik te oornag.

Kathy was baie vriendelik en behulpsaam en haar ontbyt heerlik. Die akkommodasie is skoon en netjies en goed geleë in Zastron, tussen Oos-Kaap en Gauteng. Ek het heerlik geslaap en sal weer daar oornag op volgende reise.

Hennie Smit was baie gasvry en behulpsaam en laat jou dadelik tuis voel.

Die kamer was netjies en en goed gemeubeleer.

Good but we thought over priced.

We paid more for this accommodation than we paid either in Bloemfontein or Clarens both of which were more comfortable and far better equipped than 36 on Boom. The hand wash basin was the smallest I have ever seen and one had to wash one's cup or glass in it. Hennie the host was charming and helpful.

Aangenaam, vriendelik, kos lekker.

Die dorp het opgradering nodig, maar die B&B is goed geleë, kamers is baie gerieflik, personeel is vriendelik, dis veilig en daar is goeie parkering beskikbaar. Vir die winter is daar lekker lugversorging, maar miskien kan die eienaar oorweeg om 'n warm elektriese kombers by te voeg. Zastron is regtig koud, maar stil.
