Description
Aardts Cabins is a charming and rustic secluded stone cottage situated 14 km from De Rust. The cottage offers a romantic escape or a memorable family getaway to those who appreciate the true beauty of the Karoo, with its unspoiled landscapes, breathtaking sunsets and magical starlit skies.
The open-plan cottage is furnished with a double bed and a bunk bed. The outdoor bathroom is fitted with a shower, a basin and a toilet.
The kitchenette is equipped with a stove, a fridge, cutlery and crockery. Leading through the bedroom is a covered patio with a cosy fireplace as well as an outdoor braai.
The cottage boasts a wood-fired hot tub where guests can relax and recharge at one's own pace.
This modern cottage was dug out on the south side of the mountain for several reasons. This is a natural method of keeping the temperature constant throughout the seasons, day and night. There is also a pond on top of the roof of the cottage to keep the sleeping area cool.
