Description
African Peach is an off-the-grid luxury holiday home overlooking the Hermanus Golf Course, just 150 meters from the sea cliff path.
All four bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and are equipped with quiet air conditioning that offers both cooling and heating functions. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, the second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and the other two bedrooms are each furnished with two single beds.
The spacious kitchen and separate scullery are fully equipped, including a gas hob, electric stove, fridge-freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, and more.
The upstairs lounge area has a beverage fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, counter, and wash basin for glassware, providing a convenient setup for refreshments.
The house is powered by a 5 kVA solar system with battery backup, so, aside from the oven, it is not reliant on Eskom for power. The gas hob, as well as the kettle, toaster, microwave, and air fryer, operate off the solar backup system. For cooler seasons, there is a gas fireplace downstairs and a wood fireplace upstairs. High-speed internet is available with boosters on both floors and a 20GB data allowance per stay. Each of the three smart TVs has a dedicated DStv connection, allowing for independent viewing.
There is off-street parking for two cars, along with a multi-zone security system and 24-hour ADT monitoring. A smoke alarm is also installed for added safety.
It is located 2.5 km east of Hermanus's town centre and sits on a quiet road with minimal traffic.
