Description
Airy Industrial Loft is a self-catering apartment located in the Crescent View complex situated in the suburbs of the coastal town of Amanzimtoti, just south of Durban.
The unit is located on the fifth floor, can accommodate up to 6 guests, and comprises 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom which is built as an open plan wet room and a separate toilet. There are 2 main bedrooms, both with queen-size beds and louvre doors opening onto the enclosed veranda and viewing room. The third bedroom has 2 single beds with three-quarter duvets for comfort. There are ceiling fans in all the bedrooms.
The loft has a large open-plan room with the kitchen as you enter, with 4 stools at the kitchen island and a living area. The funky spacious kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a gas hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, and cutlery and crockery. The dining area has seating space for 4 people which can be extended to a 6 seater, while the lounge has comfy seating and a TV with the local channels and a DVD player.
The industrial loft has magnificent views across the Manzimtoti River and the Indian Ocean. There are 3 director chairs strategically placed at the large picture window to take in the views with a mug of tea or a glass of wine. A wonderful space to relax after a day out and about on the South Coast.
There is a communal braai in the front garden of the complex. A grill is required if you are wanting to braai.
There are drying lines on the basement level of the building. The apartment block is accessed through a gate via remote control. A private lock-up parking garage, number 504, is available for use by guests. The front door is secured by a Trellidor for guests' safety.
Amanzimtoti is a popular tourist destination, particularly with surfers, and divers visiting the world-famous Aliwal Shoal just off the coast. There are lovely beaches in close proximity to the Loft, our favourite is Warner Beach, a 4 km drive and one of the best beaches for a nice long walk at low tide and if you are feeling energetic you can walk all the way to the Illovo River Mouth. All along the South Coast, there are many options for a day at the beach. The fabulous Galleria Mall, Arbor Crossing and Makro are nearby and Amanzimtoti features several other shopping malls, entertainment venues, and a variety of nature reserves.
Durban's restaurants, shopping, markets and beaches are a 30-minute drive on the highway north of the Loft. King Shaka International Airport is an hour from the loft.
