Description
Aloe River House is a comfortable rustic farmhouse located on the banks of the Hennops River, flowing through the Rhenosterspruit Nature Reserve in Gauteng.
It offers 3 bedrooms, each furnished with a queen-size bed, and another bedroom with a double bed and 4 single beds. There are 3 en-suite bathrooms and 1 separate bathroom, each fitted with a shower, a toilet, and a basin.
The kitchen is fully self-catering, featuring a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, and microwave, as well as cutlery and crockery. The lounge offers comfortable seating and a cosy fireplace. The property's rustic charm ensures it remains unaffected by power cuts, with all geysers and the kitchen hob and oven operating on gas. Rechargeable light bulbs ensure that the lights remain on during load shedding.
Please note there is no TV or Wi-Fi on the property. However, regular cellphone reception is available, and guests can use their own dongles to stay connected with the outside world. Guests have the option to enjoy board games with family and friends or explore the numerous hiking trails and other activities in the area, including relaxing by the fire in the spacious boma while listening to the nearby river.
