Description
Alto Log Cabin is located on a protea farm on the dolomite riffs of the Kromdraai area in the Cradle of Humankind.
This charming wooden cabin comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 with double bed and the other with 2 single beds as well as a bathroom with a shower-over-bath, basin, and toilet.
There is also a well-equipped kitchen with 2-plate stove with mini-oven, fridge-freezer, crockery and cutlery. The open-plan living area comprises a lounge and dining area. Leading out from the living area is a wooden deck with a gas braai and an outdoor patio set, all boast breathtaking views of the Cradle and Magalies mountains.
For nature lovers, there is also the opportunity for horse riding and walking or mountain biking trails. In the evening's guests can enjoy stargazing and if lucky to hear a lion roar. Alto Log Cabin is close to attractions such as the Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve, Maropeng, Sterkfontein Caves and more.
Please note that the 2-track 7 km gravel road is most suitable for vehicles with a higher ground clearance.
