At River Cottage offers beautifully furnished self-catering accommodation in the charming town of Parys. Parys is a lovely town located within the Vredefort Dome World Heritage Site and there are many activities and attractions in and around Parys. The cottage is only 100 m from the 1919 suspension bridge over the Vaal River and is very close to several shops, restaurants and other amenities. It is 800 m from the Parys Golf and Country Estate with its well-known golf course.
At River Cottage can comfortably accommodate 4 guests and comprises 2 en-suite bedrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. Each bedroom contains a king-size bed that can be converted to 2 single beds on request. The first bedroom has an en suite containing a bath and a shower, a toilet and a washbasin, while the second bedroom has an en suite continuing a bath, a toilet and a washbasin.
The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering and is fitted with a fridge-freezer, stove and oven, microwave, kettle, and cutlery and crockery. There is also a 4-seater dining table and chairs. The lounge contains seating and a TV with a selection of DStv channels. A fifth guest can be accommodated on a single bed in the lounge, by request. There is an outside area with a sofa and chair that provides lovely seating for coffee in the morning air.
The cottage has a patio with a built-in braai and an 8-seater dining table and chairs. Secure parking is available.
