Description

Awimaweh is a resort and conference centre located in Tweespruit on the banks of the Armenia Dam and offering magnificent views of the dam and the surrounding mountains.

Self-catering accommodation is offered in fully equipped chalets with lovely views over the dam, and basic fishermen's rondavels which are located close to the water. The chalets feature a kitchen with a mini-stove oven, a fridge, toaster, and a breakfast bar with stools. They are well-equipped for self-catering and each has their own braai area. The rondavels are very basic but comfortable, making their ideal for fishermen, and each contains a fridge, a stove and a kettle.

The resort has a 300-seater on-site restaurant with views of the dam, as well as 2 swimming pools. The resort offers plenty of activities to keep you and the kids busy including fishing, putt-putt, bird watching, open-air chess, game viewing and horse riding. Awimaweh also has a conference hall that can seat up to 300 delegates, as well as a wedding chapel.
