Description

Badfontein Guest Farm and Camping is a working farm on the banks of the Orange River, just 15 km from Aliwal North. The guest farm offers comfortable self-catering accommodation and a campsite in a peaceful atmosphere where guests can enjoy lovely sunsets over the river and starry night skies.

Accommodation is offered in 3 self-catering units a 2-bedroom garden cottage, a 1-bedroom cottage in the veld, and a 2-bedroom flat. The units comprise their own kitchens and bathrooms, and have access to braai facilities. There is a natural sulfur pool on the farm which guests are welcome to enjoy, as well as plenty of veld paths round the farm for those wishing to go for a stroll.

Activities on the farm include camping, fishing in the river and dams, and bird watching. For those interested in San paintings, this can be arranged by appointment only.
