Baviaans Wes Guest House is situated on a farm approximately 30 km from Uniondale, in the direction of Willowmore and the Baviaanskloof, a declared World Heritage Site. The guest house offers a typical South African farm holiday experience.

The farm is ideal for 4x4 and 4x2 drivers and mountain bikers, as the farm tracks are ideal for these vehicles, and guests can enjoy the Klein Karoo scenery along the way. Guests can also hike the numerous farm trails. San rock art, also known as Bushman paintings can also be found. Various types of game may be encountered whilst hiking or driving, and bird watchers will be rewarded for their patience at various locations on the farm. A number for blue cranes have made the garden their home and guests have ample opportunity to study these birds from up close.
