Description
Beach Castle offers 2 self-catering units situated in Stilbaai, only a stone’s throw from the beach and river mouth. The little seaside village lies just off the N2 between Mossel Bay and Riversdale, on an estuary where the Goukou River meets the Indian Ocean.
Both units sleep 4 adults comfortably, and 2 extra children can be accommodated in each unit on sleeper couches. The Luxury Unit has 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and an open-plan living area with a sleeper couch and kitchen. The Family Unit has 1 main bedroom with a bathroom, a loft area with 2 single beds, an open-plan living area and a kitchen. Both units have stunning views of the river mouth and sea.
Stilbaai enjoys a pollution-free, safe and peaceful setting with long stretches of sandy beach, a temperate climate and a river navigable for some 15 km. The town lies along the banks of the Goukou River, with a magnificent estuary and safe beaches on either side of the river mouth. The village is thus very attractive to visitors seeking safe bathing, angling, windsurfing, kite-surfing, sailing, canoeing and other water activities. Stilbaai has a rich marine life in the river estuary and a remarkably large variety of bird life is attracted to the abundance of indigenous fauna and flora in the area.
