Description
Behr's Lair offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a cosy 1-bedroom cottage on the water's edge in Marina Da Gama in Muizenberg. The cottage is situated on a residential property where the owner resides, and has its own entrance. The property is located in a cul-de-sac, where there is parking available for guests.
The cottage comprises a bedroom with a king-size bed, a bathroom with a bath and shower, and an open-plan kitchenette and living area. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, a microwave, a stove, and a kettle and toaster. The open-plan living area includes a dining table and chairs, and a lounge with a TV with selected DStv channels. The cottage is equipped with Wi-Fi.
Guests have access to a courtyard, swimming pool and jetty, shared with the owner. There is also a loving Great Dane called Muesli and Ola the cat on the property. If guests aren't comfortable with dogs or cats, then the owner will ensure they stay away.
The area is a birder's sanctuary, and there are hundreds of species that visit, including pelicans, herons and owls. There is even a friendly family of Cape clawless otters that arrive on the deck some evenings. A child-friendly park is located right across the road, and there are plenty of shops nearby.
The location offers access to beaches, restaurants, shops, wine farms, Cape Point, Kalk Bay and Simon's Town.
