Blue Cottages Country House is situated at the foot of the Drakensburg mountains about 20 mins from Hoedspruit and 45 mins from the Kruger National Park, at the heart of 'big five''country. Blue Cottages is also ideally situated for access to the Blyde River Canyon.

Offering delightful quaint accommodation in six individual cottages including self-catering and family options. All rooms have air-conditioning, TV with DStv, tea and coffee-making stations, ceiling fans, mosquito nets and secluded individual braai facilities.

The main house comprises the original farm manager’s cottage built in 1948, by Captain Drury, on the pioneering Olifants River Estate. The original lampposts imported especially by Drury from London, can still be seen on the road leading to Blue Cottages.

The main farmhouse is next to Monsoon Gallery and Mad Dogz Café, which is forms part of the Blue Cottages.

The stunning Blyde River Canyon route is nearby, as are opportunities for rafting, hiking and bird watching, hot-air balloon rides and game viewing drives can also be arranged on request. Kruger Park’s Phalaborwa and Orpen gates are only an hour’s drive away.
