Bonfrutti Perskepit and Waenhuis are 2 combined self-catering cottages located in a tranquil setting on a working fruit, wine, and sheep farm situated at the foot of the Langeberg mountains, off the R60 between Ashton and Swellendam. Bonfrutti offers a wholesome taste of farm life, fresh air, and water from a mountain stream all year round.
These cottages can accommodate 6 adults and 3 children. The first cottage comprises 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, while the second cottage has 1 en-suite bedroom. The first bedroom in the main cottage is comfortably furnished with a queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with both a bath and a shower. The second bedroom has a child-only single bed and a child-only bunk bed. This bedroom makes use of a separate bathroom fitted with a shower. The second cottage's bedroom contains a queen-size bed and a bathroom fitted with a shower. Linen and bath towels are provided.
Both units feature a well-equipped kitchen that includes a gas stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, fridge-freezer, and a dining area. Both units have a lounge; the main cottage has an indoor braai. The second cottage has 2 single beds. For guests' entertainment, both units have a TV with DStv channels.
The units open onto a covered patio. A splash pool with wood-fired stove, fed by mountain water, as well as a firepit, can be enjoyed. Onsite parking is available, and guests can enjoy stargazing, bird watching, farm animals, mountain biking, walks, a restaurant, a farm stall, and wine routes.
