Description

Broadlands is a peaceful farm stay located in Standerton, a large commercial and agricultural town set on the banks of the Vaal River in Mpumalanga.

The Milk Room is situated next to the communal kitchen and comprises 1 bedroom with a private bathroom. Guests can also stay in one of the 3 charming rondavels, which were originally old silos. They share the use of a bathroom fitted with a toilet, shower, sink, and a small plastic tub ideal for bathing young children. They also have access to a shared kitchen, which is located in the Milk Room.

The property is fully fenced and equipped with an alarm system, and secure parking is available within the fenced area. Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the farm dam, take peaceful walks through the property, and experience the natural surroundings where frogs fill the dam and birds nest nearby in the marsh.

Additional activities include fishing, cycling, hiking, and night drives, which can be arranged on request. The Rondavels and Milking Parlour are completely off-grid, with borehole water, solar power, gas, and plenty of firewood provided.

This is the ideal escape for guests looking to enjoy the tranquillity of farm life, with spectacular sunsets and the soothing sounds of nature all around.
