Description

Collett House and Lavender Cottage is situated on the western side of the quaint village of Clarens, just 27 km from the scenic Golden Gate Highlands National Park. Set on a sprawling 3000-square-meter property, the guest house offers beautiful garden views and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Lavender Cottage offers the largest overall area. The open-plan cottage is fitted with a queen-size bed, a bunk bed, and a fully equipped kitchenette, including a gas stove and oven. It also features a cast-iron coal stove for use during winter, a bathroom with a shower, and a private garden with a braai area. Lavender Cottage can be rented separately or together with Collett House.

Alternatively, there are 3 Rock Cottages adjacent to each other. Each open-plan unit is equipped with a double bed, a bunk bed, a 2-seater couch, and a kitchenette with a 2-plate gas stove for basic self-catering. The units offer an en-suite bathroom with a shower and lead out onto a deck with a braai area.

All units have the basic amenities, including linen, towels, and gas geysers for a constant supply of hot water. During winter, gas heaters are provided, and additional gas can be requested at an extra cost. A carrycot is available at no extra charge. The property is well-fenced with a remote-controlled gate and ample parking for all vehicles.

Each unit features a private terrace with breathtaking mountain views, and a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave, toaster, fridge, stovetop, kitchenware, and a kettle.

Relax and unwind in our lovely picnic area. For golf enthusiasts, Clarens Golf Club is just 2.6 km away, while the Art and Wine Gallery on Main is a short 1 km from our property. The Caledonspoort border post between South Africa and Lesotho is only 42k from Collett House and Lavender Cottage.
