Description
Crows Rest offers comfortable self-catering accommodation within the Grehenheim Estates on the southern slopes of the Magaliesberg, between Pretoria and Hartbeespoort. Guests can enjoy nature at its best and visit numerous attractions and activities west and north of Pretoria.
The property is home to a luxury boarding kennel who will look after your pets should you wish to visit attractions in the area that do not allow pets.
The accommodation comprises 3 en-suite guest bedrooms. The Barbet Suite contains a queen-size bed and the Sunbird Suite contains 2 three-quarter beds. The Nightjar Suite, which has a king-size bed, is not pet friendly, and has a panoramic view from its private balcony, ranging from Pretoria all the way through to Hartbeespoort Dam. Wi-Fi is available in all the rooms.
The living area, kitchen and garden of Crows Rest are all common areas that guests have access to. The lounge and dining area opens via a glass sliding door onto an enclosed garden with a mountain view. Guests can sit and listen to the bird life or take in the tranquil mountain while enjoying a morning coffee. Braai facilities and garden furniture are also provided.
The kitchen is equipped with a 2-plate induction stove, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and cooking utensils, and the buffet area is fully stocked with crockery, cutlery and glassware.
Secure parking is available on the property and laundry can be arranged at an additional fee.
Grehenheim Estates is a working lifestyle farm where children can interact with numerous farm animals. Picturesque walking trails are available on the slopes of the Magaliesberg and access to 4X4 activities are also available. Game can be viewed while exploring.
The property is located 12 km from Hartbeespoort Dam and 44 km from Lanseria International Airport; it is within easy reach of numerous attractions and activities to keep guests occupied. Day trips can be made to the Cradle of Humankind and Sun City to name a few.
