Description
De Mond is a character-filled home located in Voëlklip, Hermanus offers complete comfort ideal for both relaxed family living as well as entertaining. It occupies a large seafront erf with sweeping views across Walker Bay and the surrounding mountains.
This property can accommodate a total of 10 guests at a time and consists of the main house with 3 en-suite bedrooms as well as a garden cottage with 2 bedrooms that are each en-suite. On the upper level, the main and the second bedrooms are each furnished with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, bath, washbasin and toilet. The main suite opens up onto a private balcony that overlooks the lagoon and Grotto Beach. A queen-size bed is available in the third bedroom as well as a bathroom fitted with a shower.
The first bedroom in the garden cottage contains a queen-size bed and the second bedroom has 2 three-quarter beds. Both of these bedrooms have a full en-suite bathroom with a shower and a bath. All linen and bath towels are provided.
The main house features a farm-style kitchen, dining room, library and family room as well as a spacious lounge that leads out onto a vine-covered patio. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, cutlery and crockery as well as a central breakfast table. A washing machine, a tumble-dryer and a dishwasher are available too. For guests’ convenience, there are 3 coffee machines in different locations around the house.
The dining room includes a lovely fireplace and a TV with a full selection of DStv channels, while the cosy lounge also has a fireplace where guests can fully relax with a reading book. Access to free Wi-Fi is available.
The garden cottage also features a double garage and the property has rolling park-like gardens that have been immaculately maintained and include a number of mature trees.
