Description

Die Strandhuis offers self-catering accommodation situated in Umdloti, a small village on the coast of the warm Indian Ocean, located 11 km south of King Shaka Airport and 25 km north of Durban.

Die Strandhuis has 4 separate self-catering options: "The House", "Embuia", "Rosewood" and "Greta's". All are situated in a garden, boast full sea views, and are 60m metres from the beach and allow small breed dogs on request.

Each room has a ceiling fan, all linen and dishcloths are supplied however guests are required to bring their own beach towels. All units are serviced daily except Sundays and public holidays.

For the Embuia room, guests are required to specify whether or not they would like to make use of both bedrooms. If guests are only going to use one bedroom, the second one will be locked. If a booking of 2 guests would like to make use of both bedrooms, an extra rate will be charged.

We, unfortunately, do not accept student groups, bachelor-, bachelorette parties or as we are only suitable for families or couples. A sparkling enclosed pool is available for the guests to enjoy.

Excellent restaurants, one of which serves a very good breakfast from 07h00, are just 500m walking distance from Die Strandhuis.
