Die Uilhuisie is a quaint self-catering cottage nestled in the heart of the veld located on a picturesque farm outside the village of Bonnievale. This quaint retreat offers sweeping views of the Riviersonderend Mountain range, particularly enchanting when covered in mid-winter snow.
This off-the-grid cottage is completely solar-powered and accommodates 4 guests in 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom contains a double bed. The rooms share a bathroom fitted with a shower. Quality linen and towels are provided.
The kitchen is well-equipped with a fridge, gas stove, oven, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The living area features a 4-seater dining table, an indoor braai area that doubles as a fireplace, and a comfy seating space. A coffee machine and complimentary Wi-Fi are included for guests' convenience.
Outside the cottage, is a furnished patio where guests can enjoy their morning coffee, cool off in the swimming pool, or braai with stunning views of the landscape. Guests can also spot the Nguni cattle or family of eland that roam the farm.
