Downes Gasteplaas is situated on a working farm near the town of Calvinia and offers quality accommodation for overnight guests travelling long distances, or just for a peaceful weekend breakaway.

The accommodation comprises 3 rooms to choose from. Each room has it's own private bathroom and 1 of the 3 also has a small kitchenette. The first room is fitted with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. The second bedroom has a double bed and a single bed, making it ideal for a small family. It also has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. The third room has a double bed and a single bed, as well as a bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. It features a kitchenette with a microwave, bar fridge, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery.

There are lovely braai facilities where guests can enjoy a get-together while preparing a meal.
