Description
Driekwartblou Guest House is on a working farm within walking distance from the water of the Gariep Dam. The guest house is located right next to Oviston Nature Reserve, and the game can be viewed from the patio. Driekwartblou is located approximately 30 km from the N1 highway, allowing easy access.
The accommodation comprises 4, modern suites, each featuring an en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, and DStv. Guests also have access to complimentary Wi-Fi. The accommodation uses solar power and is not affected by load shedding.
Meals are available on request. No meals are provided on a Sunday. All units are equipped with the necessary facilities suitable for self-catering. Braai facilities are also available.
Guests can watch the sunrise whilst enjoying their morning coffee and some homemade rusks.
During the summer months, guests can cool down in the farm dam. There are demarcated hiking routes and guided walking tours can be arranged. Cycling enthusiasts can bring their mountain bikes along. The farm is known for the ideal conditions for stargazing and is a popular spot for birdwatching enthusiasts.
