Description

The Duiker Game Lodge is a stylish and peaceful game lodge based in the heart of Zululand just outside Hluhluwe, KwaZulu-Natal. The Duiker Game Lodge Reserve is 400 hectares with plentiful plains game.

Accommodation is offered in wonderful Queen or Twin Chalets that each contain an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower, a toilet and a washbasin, a ceiling fan, air-conditioning, a seating area, mini-fridge, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Each chalet has a patio with seating.

The lodge has an air-conditioned guest lounge and library with a TV with DStv, a fully licenced bar, and a spacious dining room. Wi-Fi is available in the lodge. Outside, there is a long covered patio with seating, a braai area with a fire pit, a grass lawn for children to play on, and a lovely swimming pool deck that has a covered area with seating.

The lodge offers daily game drives on the property where guests can spot a number of wild animals. The Bush Boma, located away from the Lodge, is a beautiful spot for a braai. All activities on the reserve can be arranged during your stay. Dinners and Breakfasts are also on offer.

A number of game reserves are also found in the area. These include Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park, Mkuze Game Reserve and Isimangaliso Wetlands Park. St Lucia is also a popular destination for Hippo and Croc Boat Cruises.
