El Shadai Guesthouse & Spa is situated in the Magalies Mountains overlooking the Hartbeespoort Dam, with magnificent views. El Shadai, meaning "more than enough" is all you need to break away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Please note we have numerous steps up to, and throughout, the building.
This secure guest house is a modern style building with large panoramic windows and balconies with glass balustrades. Accommodation consists of four spacious suites, each with an en-suite bath and separate shower, and quality furniture in a more contemporary style.
Hartbeespoort Dam is less than an hour’s drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria. Known as Harties to the locals, it has become a hive of activity and is a very popular weekend getaway between the two cities.
Suite 1 - This is a large suite with a private balcony overlooking breathtaking views of the dam and mountains. Suite 1 includes DStv, air-conditioning, mini fridge, and lounge area, tea and coffee, jet bath and full spread breakfast.
Suite 2 - This is a large suite with a private balcony overlooking breathtaking views of the dam and the mountains. Suite 2 includes DStv, air-conditioning, mini fridge, lounge area, tea and coffee, and full spread breakfast.
Suite 3 - This is a medium suite. The suite has a walkway that is linked to a private Jacuzzi deck, overlooking breathtaking views of the dam and mountains. Suite 3 includes DStv, aircon, a mini-fridge, tea and coffee facilities, bath and shower, and full spread breakfast.
Suite 4 - This is our penthouse, executive, suite. This suite is on the 4th level and has a private balcony overlooking breathtaking views of the dam and the mountains. It also has a private splash pool. Suite 4 includes DStv, air-conditioning, LCD TV, mini fridge, lounge area, king bed, jet bath, tea and coffee, welcoming basket and full buffet breakfast. This suite has an adjoining room that has two 3/4 single beds in, air-conditioning, and bathroom with shower.
Breakfast is served in the dining room with views of the dam. Our rock pool and jacuzzi also have panoramic views of the dam and mountains.
