Fairview is a stunning self-catering house set on a spacious plot with 180-degree views over Walker Bay, Hermanus. This seaside holiday retreat offers classic architecture, featuring wooden floors, high ceilings, and curated artwork that captures its character. The main highlight is undoubtedly the panoramic views from the front porch, where guests can enjoy watching whales while savouring a cup of coffee.
This property has a sleeping capacity of 8 guests and comprises 4 tastefully furnished bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a traditional enamel bath. The second and third bedrooms face the sea and courtyard, respectively, and are each furnished with twin beds that can be converted into a king-size bed. They share the use of a bathroom fitted with a shower. The fourth bedroom at the back of the house has a double bed and an en-suite with a shower. Linen and towels are provided.
The house comprises an open-plan kitchen, dining area, and lounge areas. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas hob and oven, microwave, toaster, a French press, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. There is also a dishwasher, and cleaning materials for guests’ convenience, and a washing machine and tumble dryer in a separate laundry room. The kitchen extends to a spacious dining area, and the adjacent lounge is furnished with comfy couches and a Smart TV and features a wood-fired fireplace. Guests have access to free Wi-Fi and a mini power backup system that ensures guests can watch TV during power outages.
Guests can enjoy the large, well-cared-for garden for sporting activities, as well as the outdoor seating area for alfresco dining, and braai facilities. Parking is also available to guests, and the property is secure with an alarm system.
