Fisaasbos se Huis is perched high on the foothills of the majestic Winterhoek mountains, at the very end of the Tulbagh valley cul de sac. Surrounded by fruit orchards, the rondawel style thatched house boasts extraordinary views of the mountains and valley. The self-catering accommodation works well as a family-share or for a friends' get-together, for hikers, bikers, rock-climbers, or romantics looking to escape the bustle of city life.
The carefully restored farmhouse comprises 3 bedrooms of which the main bedroom has a queen size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower and toilet. The second room also has a queen size bed, and with an indoor fireplace. The third bedroom has 2 double bunk beds - ideal for 4 children. The second and third bedroom share a bathroom that has a family size shower, basin and toilet.
All rooms open onto the central living room adjacent to the kitchen; and main rooms open out onto tranquil garden spaces .
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering purposes with dishwasher, stove, fridge-freezer, microwave and old school filter coffee machine. The secure kitchen stoep is ideal for storing bikes and hiking equipment; the outside braai
The yard fence is secure for pets and small children with two gated driveways on either side of the house. The spreading lawn has oak and pecan trees providing plenty of shade to relax or play ball sports.
Guests have private access to all spaces in and around the house and yard. Hiking and biking are allowed on all farm roads but driving is allowed on access roads only.
