Description

Nestled at the foot of the Franschhoek Mountain Range lies Franschhoek Country Cottages and Wildlife Reserve. The comfortable, self-catering cottages are situated in a wildlife reserve in Franschhoek in the heart of the gourmet capital and the Cape Winelands.

Each cottage has one bedroom and an open-plan living area. The living room has comfortable seating and a cosy fireplace for the cold winter nights. The kitchen is well equipped with all cutlery and crockery provided. The lounge and bedroom each have a wall-mounted heater. The bedrooms have overhead fans for the warm summers. A private veranda offers guests a place to relax and enjoy the views overlooking a waterhole frequented by the resident wildlife and birds.

Establishment Facilities include a fireplace,braai/barbecue and on-site parking.

Franchhoek itself is a picturesque little town that is popular for its rich history and award-winning wine farms. The village has numerous cafés and restaurants where guests can enjoy a glass of wine and the peaceful surroundings. The village also has numerous arts and craft shops as well as art galleries to explore.
