Description
Grandpa’s Cottage is a lovely self-catering cottage with a private entrance, located on the owner’s farm, nestled between Nieu-Bethesda and Graaf-Reneit. With its serene setting, this unit provides guests with a peaceful escape to the countryside where they can enjoy the surrounding nature of the Karoo.
This cottage can accommodate up to 7 guests in 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with a double bed and have doors that open up onto the patio. The third bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a single bed. Both of the bathrooms are fitted with a bath, a shower, washbasin and toilet. Linen and bath towels are provided.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, cutlery and crockery and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The dining and lounging areas have comfortable seating for guests to dine and relax, and for guests entertainment there is a fireplace. Access to Wi-Fi is available.
Guests can enjoy an undercover patio with outdoor furniture and braai facilities. A short walk up the hill leads to a serene lookout point, offering breathtaking views of the Karoo nature. Secure parking is available on the premises. This property is approximately 33 km away from Graaf-Reinet, and 21 km from Nieu-Bethesda where guests can find amenities such as shops and restaurants.
