Named in honour of Colonel Stephenson Hamilton, who was instrumental in establishing the world-famous Kruger National Park, Hamiltons Tented Camp proudly displays its heritage. The magnificent “colonial”-style décor takes guests back to a bygone era of safaris.

The luxury guest suites feature authentic elements including teak floorboards, dreamy mosquito nets, slipper baths and secluded outdoor showers. Each tented suite features a private deck that looks out over the seasonal river – which, whether it’s flowing or not, attracts wildlife year-round. Each suite is connected to the main lodge area by raised timber walkways which weave their way between giant old jackalberry trees.
