Description
Hazeldene was one of the first houses built in Colesberg with a very rich history of the Anglo-Boer war. The house belonged to a Miss Hobcork and the Hazeldene house was used on weekends as a townhouse. The entrance to the rooms is from Bell Street, a typical Karoo town one-way with almost no traffic.
Accommodation is offered in 6 individual bedrooms that are both comfortable and spacious, they have private access, and en-suite bathrooms, each fitted with spacious showers, and private patios.
The rooms are serviced daily and linen and towels are replaced. For your comfort tea and coffee, facilities are available, and an artificial breeze. Besides up-to-date magazines in each room, there are folders with interesting information about the history of Colesberg and the Anglo-Boer War's impact on the community.
With the convenience of secure off-street parking and on-site Bordeaux restaurant and coffee shop, it is the ideal overnight stop. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in the Bordeaux restaurant and coffee shop with DStv.
Smoking is not allowed in the room. To encourage all families to explore the tranquility of Colesberg, rooms are not equipped with television sets.
