Situated in a secure estate on the banks of the Vaal Dam, just 12 km from Oranjeville, Hector's Bay Cottage offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a 6-sleeper cottage situated on the same property as Hector's Bay Main House which accommodates 8 people. For larger parties of up to 14 people, both properties can be booked.
The cottage comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a lounge. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The second bedroom contains a double bed, and the third bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds. The 2 rooms share a bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower. For convenience, all linen is provided.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Meals can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar. Guests can relax in the lounge, which is equipped with a TV with selected DStv channels and opens onto the covered veranda with outdoor braai facilities and a view of the dam.
Guests can make use of the 200 m private waterfront for fishing, and there is plenty of space to cycle, walk, or jog.
