Description
Hillside Village Fernkloof is a lovely holiday home in Hermanus' exclusive Hillside Estate, with views of the mountains and the sea. The estate is home to a golf course which can be viewed from the double-storey home.
The 5-bedroom house can accommodate 8 adults as well as 4 children. There are 2 bedrooms furnished with a king-size bed and both have an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and shower. The third bedroom contains a queen-size bed while the fourth bedroom has 2 single beds. The fifth bedroom serves as a kid's room as well as an entertainment area and has 2 bunk beds as well as a couch and a TV. These rooms share the use of the remaining 2 bathrooms which have bath and shower facilities available. Some of the bedrooms open onto a balcony overlooking the golf course.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, a gas stove, an oven, a microwave, a water dispenser, and a dishwasher. A washing machine and a tumble-dryer are available in the laundry room. The open-plan living area features a 9-seater dining table, a lounge suite in front of the fireplace, a TV with DStv, and a bar area.
The top floor opens onto an enclosed balcony overlooking the courtyard and swimming pool, which has an outdoor dining table where guests can enjoy meals. A second balcony, with views of the golf course, has an outdoor seating area and a built-in braai area. The lower level opens onto a patio that has comfy seating as well as gas braai facilities, and leads to the swimming pool.
