Hlosi Game Lodge is situated in the 7 500-hectare Amakhala Game Reserve, Eastern Cape. Lying along a curve of the hill above the Bushman's River plain, the luxury game lodge is a quiet, grassland retreat offering a rich and intimate luxury African safari experience.
This intimate lodge redefines exclusivity with only 4 luxury suites, 2 family suites and 8 luxury tents. The luxury safari tents offer a unique, tented experience of the African bush without compromising on luxury.
The main lodge comprises an entrance rondavel, leading to a spacious dining room allowing for both intimate and group dining, and a large lounge and library area leading onto a bar. The central lodge is surrounded on all sides by shady verandas offering guests a variety of views out over the tranquil landscape, as well as over the swimming pool and pool deck. A separate area known as a “boma" adjoins the main lodge where bush braais and special festivities are offered for the guests' enjoyment. For the younger guests, a private lounge offers a television, DVD player, games and books.
Hlosi Game Lodge may also be booked exclusively as a private venue for small team-building and wedding functions. Hlosi also offers a wonderful small conference venue for Eastern Cape businesses. The family safari offering includes a varied and supervised activity program.
Ideally situated near Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, and offering the Big 5 Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino and Leopard in a malaria-free private game reserve, means the entire family can enjoy the best of what Africa has to offer.
